Police reported on Sunday that Rajya Sabha member Kartikeya Sharma narrowly escaped injury after his SUV was rear-ended by a vehicle on the Kundli Mandsar Palwal (KMP) road in the Bilaspur police station area.

After attending a social gathering in Doodiwala Kishanpura, district Charkhi Dadri, Haryana, the member of parliament Kartikeya Sharma was on his way to Gurugram when the tragedy occurred.

According to the police, the lawmaker was rushed to the hospital, where physicians reported that he was in good health.
