Ram Navami clashes: After commotion broke out during a Ram Navami procession in Howrah, West Bengal, the police conducted a flag march. Videos shared by ANI revealed that police officers were present during the disturbance. The videos depicted vehicles that were incinerated during the disturbance.
On the occasion of Ram Navami, incidents of conflict were reported from other states in addition to Howrah. PTI reported that stone throwing occurred during a procession in the Fatehpura neighborhood of Vadodara, Gujarat. Several vehicles were damaged during the incident, but no one was hurt.
The incident occurred when the procession reached the vicinity of a mosque and people began to congregate there, according to the police.

“We have deployed armed personnel from the regular police, the crime branch, the Special Operations Group, and the State Reserve Police Force.” There are currently no reports of anyone being injured as a result of the stone throwing. The incident will be investigated, said Manoj Ninama, additional commissioner of police, to PTI.
During a clash between two parties in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, approximately 500 individuals threw stones and gasoline-filled bottles, injuring 12 individuals, including ten police officers.
According to PTI, the miscreants also set fire to at least 13 vehicles, necessitating the use of tear gas, plastic pellets, and live ammunition to control the throng.

“It began when two parties of approximately five people each clashed near the Ram temple. One group abandoned the area after some time, and the police arrived shortly thereafter. After an hour, a crowd gathered and hurled stones and gasoline-filled bottles at police officers, as stated by Aurangabad Police Commissioner Nikhil Gupta on a Marathi news channel.
