A source claims that production of the Redmi Note 12S has begun in a number of European and Eurasian countries.
Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings) has disclosed information about the rumoured Redmi Note 12S, claiming that bulk production of the upcoming smartphone has begun in several European and Eurasian regions. Sharma adds that the model is anticipated to launch within the next few months, corroborating previous sources’ timeframes.
On the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) website, a new Redmi model with model number 2303CRA44A was discovered last week. This device is rumoured to be the Redmi 12S, as informant Kacper Skrzypek (@kacperskrz) had previously indicated that the model was in development and that Xiaomi would likely release it shortly, with sales commencing in mid-May. According to the FCC listing, the model will support 67W rapid charging.
According to a report by 91 Mobiles, the Redmi Note 12S will feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. According to the report, the device will likely be propelled by a MediaTek Helio G96 chipset, along with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone is anticipated to operate on MIUI 14 based on Android 12.

In terms of optics, the Redmi Note 12S reportedly includes a 108-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary lens, and a 2-megapixel lens in its triple rear camera setup, in addition to a 16-megapixel front camera. The rumoured Redmi device is expected to feature a 5,000mAh battery, 67W rapid charging, and a USB Type-C charging interface.
