The veteran actor died on Thursday morning following a heart attack at the age of 66.

Satish Kaushik death: Hours after the death of Bollywood actor Satish Kaushik, the Delhi Police are conducting routine investigations to determine if he died under enigmatic or unnatural circumstances. The proceedings are being conducted under Section 174 of the Criminal Procedure Code, according to ANI, which cited the Delhi Police.
The 66-year-old veteran actor perished of a heart attack on Thursday morning. Anupam Kher, his companion and colleague, took to Twitter to announce his untimely death.

“I am aware that death is the ultimate truth, but I never imagined that I would have to write those words about my closest friend Satish Kaushik. An abrupt conclusion to 45 years of friendship. Satish, life will never be the same without you! Om Shanti, “Anupam Kher sent a tweet.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his condolences for the actor’s passing. “Deeply saddened by the untimely passing of renowned actor Shri Satish Kaushik Ji. He was a creative savant whose acting and direction captivated audiences. Audiences will continue to be entertained by his works. The author extends condolences to his family and admirers. Om Shanti”, he tweeted.The late actor’s contribution to Indian cinema, aesthetic creations, and performances will always be remembered, according to Union home minister Amit Shah.

Satish Kaushik, a graduate of the National School of Drama and the Film and Television Institute of India, was a multitalented actor, writer, director, and producer who created a name for himself in the Indian film industry with his captivating performances and distinctive sense of humour. The roles he played in the films Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron, Mr. India, Deewana Mastana, and Udta Punjab brought him the most fame.Tere Naam and Mujhe Kuch Kehta Hai are two popular films directed by the late actor.
