New Delhi: Within the next few weeks, the Tata company plans to finalise and announce what is considered to be the biggest aviation agreement in history, a deal that would result in Air India being equipped with some of the newest and most modern commercial jetliners.
Tata Announce Commercial Plane With the addition of Vistara and Air Asia India, Air India is poised to have the youngest fleet in the world within a few years.
With the airline projected to bring in well over a hundred planes, the agreement is estimated to be worth billions of dollars.
A variety of ultra-long-range jetliners like the Airbus A-350, large-capacity aircraft like the Boeing 777X, more variations of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, and variants of the Airbus A-320 NEO series are all possible for the new fleet.

The airline may possibly purchase Boeing 737 Max aeroplanes in different configurations. Air India Express currently uses a fleet of vintage Boeing 737s.
When asked about the specific make-up of its future fleet, Air India chose not to respond.
In addition to the commercial contract, Air India is also expected to unveil a new livery in conjunction with the purchase of the new aircraft.

Today, Air India announced plans to invest $400 million to upgrade the cabins of its entire wide-body aircraft fleet. Air India has announced that their planes would soon be outfitted with “the latest generation of seats and best-in-class in-flight entertainment systems.”
Air India has grown its fleet by 27% to 100 planes since purchasing the struggling airline from the government in October 2021 for 18,000 crore.
The typical number of flights each day has increased by 30%. A total of 16 new international routes have been created or announced, and the number of weekly foreign flights has increased by 63%. Apparently, the airline has seen a doubling in its daily average income.
