Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) chief Revanth Reddy announced on Sunday that the party will launch a postcard campaign in response to Rahul Gandhi’s disqualification as a Lok Sabha member.
“As instructed by AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge, the Congress party will launch a postcard campaign over Rahul Gandhi’s disqualification as a Lok Sabha member,” the TPCC chief told media.
The head of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) described the various programs that the Telangana Congress had planned in response to Rahul Gandhi’s disqualification and the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) paper disclosure.
“All party wings, including NSUI, Youth Congress, Mahila Congress, ST Morcha, and SC Morcha, will take part in this.” We will confront this opposition to the authority of Prime Minister Modi, he said.
“On April 8, we are also staging a satyagraha in Mancherial, led by CLP leader Batti Vikramarka. In addition to the ‘Haath se Haath Jodo Yatra’ from April 10 to April 25, we will also conduct a movement demanding Rahul Gandhi’s disqualification, he added.
Earlier on March 23, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was disqualified as a Lok Sabha member after a Surat court sentenced him to two years in prison in a defamation case involving his ‘Modi surname’ remark.
TPCC chief Reddy further criticized CM KCR over the TSPSC paper breach issue, stating, “On April 25, we are planning a large protest against CM KCR in Gadwal with approximately one million unemployed youth. The TSPSC paper disclosure scandal is a massive hoax. Here, the future of thirty million unemployed adolescents is at stake. Numerous BRS executives are involved.”
“The son of CM KCR should be dismissed from his ministerial position. He stated that the TSPSC chairman and board members should be removed, a new committee should be formed, and the TSPSC should focus on administering the exams.
The TSPSC canceled the Assistant Engineers (AE) exam held on March 5 due to allegations of a question paper breach on March 15.
