Manish Sisodia, who currently oversees 18 of the national capital’s 33 departments, was arrested on Sunday after an eight-hour interrogation by the Central Bureau of Investigation. Today, he petitioned the Supreme Court for bail, which instructed him to first approach the Delhi high court. Now, the AAP has decided to move to the high court.
After Jain’s arrest in May of 2012, Sisodia was assigned the health portfolio in addition to the ones he was already responsible for. His arrest coincides with the presentation of the budget for the government of Delhi.
