HBO Max shared the first motion poster for the Harry Potter TV series with the caption, “Your letter to Hogwarts has arrived.” Max has ordered the first-ever scripted Harry Potter TV series, a faithful adaptation of the bestselling novels.”

According to Variety, a US-based media outlet, the announcement was made on April 12 during Warner Bros. Discovery’s press conference. Each season will be based on one of the franchise’s books, and Warner Bros. Discovery describes the program as a “decade-long series.” It will feature a completely different cast than the films.
As soon as the motion poster was released, the remark section was flooded with red hearts and fire emoticons as fans expressed their excitement.

The author of the Harry Potter series, JK Rowling, stated regarding the upcoming series, “Max’s commitment to preserving the integrity of my books is important to me, and I’m excited to be a part of this new adaptation, which will allow for a level of depth and detail only afforded by a long-form television series,” as reported by Variety.
Warner Bros. has always desired a ‘Harry Potter’ TV series, and in 2021, the discussion began to heat up. The potter heads are both excited and anxious about the caliber of experience that cannot be replicated at this time.
