Sukawati canyon is a holy and secret place in Bali that is protected as a gem. Tourists will agree with me if I say that Sukawati is where you can go to the popular art market to do a lot of shopping for a very low price. But SukawatCanyonon’s value has grown since it became known to the public through social media.
The canyon is another beautiful place to visit on an island full of them. People in Bali started calling it Guwang Hidden Canyon because it is in a small town in Sukawati called Guwang. Near Pura Dalem Guwang is where you can get in.
Sukawati creek has become a popular place for tourists to visit in Bali. A lot of people come to see this beautiful and important river. At the parking area, you’ll be able to see people from the town going about their daily business. You can see a small hut where you can give a gift to get into the canyon, but it’s not really an entrance fee. If you ask for help, they will give it to you. The road to the canyon is short, and it only takes 10 minutes to walk there.
The path goes along a small river and lets you cross a few rocks. Even though most of the river is small, there are parts that are much deeper. If you are wearing shorts, a swimsuit, or a tank top, crossing the river and the rock sculptures will be easy. But because the paths are hard, neither children nor older people should go there. The canyon is a beautiful place to hike and explore. It is tucked away in a strangely quiet place.
