In India, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8+, and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra were introduced in February of 2017. Now, according to a recent report, Samsung is preparing to unveil the Galaxy Tab S9 series later this year. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9+, and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra could comprise the impending flagship tablet lineup. Additionally, the report includes the model identifiers of the purported devices. All three models could be available in Wi-Fi-only and 5G-capable configurations.
The Galaxy Tab S9 series will debut in the second half of 2023, according to a report by GalaxyClub (in Dutch). Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9+, and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra are anticipated to replace the Galaxy Tab S8 series, which debuted last year.
The Galaxy Tab S9 has model numbers SM-X710 (Wi-Fi), SM-X716B (5G Global), and SM-X718U (5G US), according to the report. The expected model numbers for the Galaxy Tab S9+ are SM-X810 (Wi-Fi), SM-X816B (5G Global), and SM-X818U (5G US). In the meantime, the model identifiers SM-X910 (Wi-Fi), SM-X916B (5G Global), and SM-X18U (5G US) may be associated with the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra.
Samsung has not yet disclosed any information regarding the release of the Galaxy Tab S9 series. However, prior reports have suggested that the new tablets will utilise Android 13 with One UI 5.1. They could utilise the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 system-on-chip. In addition, they are anticipated to have an IP67 water and dust resistance rating.
As previously stated, the Galaxy Tab S8 series was introduced in February of 2017. Galaxy Tab S8 pricing begins at Rs. 58,999, whereas Galaxy Tab S8+ and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra pricing begins at Rs.74,999 and Rs. 1,08,999, respectively.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series is equipped with a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 6-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. The cameras are equipped with LED flashes. The standard model is powered by an 8,000mAh battery, whereas the Galaxy Tab S8+ is equipped with a 10,090mAh battery. The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, the series’ most advanced iteration, features an 11,200mAh battery.
