SRINAGAR: According to statements made by Kupwara police on Saturday, an attempt by security personnel to infiltrate enemy territory along the line of control in the Kumkadi area of the Machal sector resulted in the deaths of two terrorists.
Saturday, security forces thwarted an infiltration attempt along the Line of Control in the Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir, killing two militants.
The Kumkadi neighborhood located in the Machil region of the north Kashmir district was the location of the failed infiltration attempt.
Kupwara Police claimed in a post on X that “based on an intelligence input supplied by Kupwara Police, in a joint operation carried out by Army and police in Kumkadi region of Machal sector, two infiltrating terrorists have been killed so far.” The action was carried out in the Kumkadi area of the Machal sector.
According to the police, the operation is still active at this time

According to what they stated, the authorities have so far collected from the location of the encounter two AK weapons, four AK magazines, ninety bullets, a Pakistani pistol, a pouch, and 2,100 Pakistani rupees.
