The biggest fight in Kollywood will take place at the start of 2023 between Varisu and Thunivu. At the box office, the hit movies starring Thalapathy Vijay and Ajith Kumar have done well. Both were well-received by their audience. However, after having a great run in theatres, Varisu and Thunivu will soon be released on OTT platforms. On February 22, 2023, Varisu will make its Amazon Prime Video debut. Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam versions of Varisu will be released. The Hindi release of Varisu has not been confirmed by the OTT platform, though. On January 11, 2023, Varisu appeared at every nearby theatre. Almost a month after its theatrical release, it will be available on OTT.

Ajith Kumar’s heist thriller Thunivu will start streaming live on Netflix on February 8th, 2023. The movies Thunivu is available for viewers to watch in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. On social media, Netflix announced the release date and stated, “Ajith Kumar has arrived at last, which means it’s time for the explosions to start! We can’t stay CHILLA CHILLA since Thunivu will be available on Netflix in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi on February 8!”
Regarding Varisu
Amazon Prime Video will start streaming Varisu on February 22, 2023.
The Tamil drama was directed by Vamshi Paidipally. Varisu included supporting performances by R Sarath Kumar, Jayasudha, Khushboo, Srikanth, Shaam, Yogi Babu, and Sangeetha Krish. Dil Raju supports Varisu through his production banners PVP Cinema and Sri Venkateswara Creations. The editor is Praveen KL, while S Thaman composed the Varisu music. A cinematographer is Kartik Palani.

Regarding Thunivu
On February 8, 2023, Netflix will begin streaming Thunivu.
Project Thunivu, a heist thriller documenting a cat-and-mouse chase between bank robbers and police, was directed by H Vinoth. The gang’s commander is portrayed by Ajith Kumar, while his accomplice is Majnu Warrier. Samuthirakani is also the DGP Dayalan in Thunivu. The film was financed by Boney Kapoor.
