Vice President Dhankhar and South Korean FM Park Jin emphasize cultural, people-to-people ties

Friday, the Vice President of India, Jagdeep Dhankhar, and the Foreign Minister of South Korea, Park Jin, discussed the significance of cultural and people-to-people ties in enhancing the India-South Korea Special Strategic Partnership.

“Highlighting the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations, the leaders discussed the importance of cultural and people-to-people ties in bolstering the Special Strategic Partnership,” the tweet continued.

Beginning on Friday, Park Jin is on a two-day official visit to India. His visit to India coincides with the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations.

Arindam Bagchi, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), welcomed Park Jin to India on Friday and stated that his visit will help to strengthen the India-South Korea Strategic Partnership.

Bagchi tweeted on Friday, “A warm welcome to FM @FMParkJin of the Republic of Korea on his first official visit to India.”

“This year marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between India and South Korea, and the visit will strengthen our Special Strategic Partnership,” the remark continued.

Park Jin arrived in India on Friday at the Delhi airport.

Park stated on Friday that South Korea would like to enhance its current fruitful partnership with India, focusing on trade, investment, and supply chain stabilization in the manufacturing sector, as well as critical minerals.

Park jin stated that he will meet with his Indian counterpart S Jaishankar to promote the India-South Korea partnership further.

“In commemoration of our diplomatic relationship’s half-century anniversary, we would like to enhance our current effective partnership with India. So, I will meet with my counterpart S Jaishankar, the Indian Foreign Minister, to discuss our efforts, collaborative efforts to promote our partnership, and to explore the possibility of deepening and expanding our cooperation, the South Korean Minister of Foreign Affairs told the media.
