Vijaya Sankalpa Yatra: On March 25, Narendra Modi is scheduled to attend the conclusion of the Vijaya Sankalpa Yatre in Davangere, Karnataka. On the same day, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate the Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research in Chikkaballapur.
The Vijaya Sankalpa Yatra is the BJP’s 8,000-kilometer-long assembly election campaign, which will conclude on March 25. The 20-day state-wide tour, which began from four various parts of the state in specially designed vehicles or ‘Rathas,’ was kicked off by BJP national President J P Nadda on March 1 at Male Mahadeshwara Hills in Chamarajanagar district. Several prominent BJP leaders, Chief Ministers of other BJP-governed states, and Union Ministers participated in the programme designed to restore the Congress party to power.
In the meantime, the Prime Minister will visit Bengaluru and open the newly constructed KR Puram–Whitefield metro station. The 13-kilometer metro line is anticipated to facilitate commuting in an area dense with IT campuses and offices. Whitefield, Channasandra, Kadugodi, Pattandur Agrahara, Sri Satya Sai Hospital, Nallur Halli, Kundalahalli, Seetharam Palya, Hoodi Junction, Garudacharpalya, Mahadevapura, and KR Puram will be served by 12 metro stations along the KR Puram-Whitefield line.

This will be the seventh visit by PM Modi to the election-bound state this year. Karnataka elections are likely to be conducted in May.
