Virat Kohli scored his 46th ODI century against Sri Lanka on Sunday at Greenfield International Stadium. Additionally, this was his 74th century in international cricket. He needed 10 fours and 1 six to reach his most recent century. He also broke Tendulkar’s record for the most centuries scored at home with 21 hundreds.

Kohli finally scored a century in an ODI during India’s trip of Bangladesh at the end of last year. The number three hitter had not scored a century in 1214 days.
India’s crowded ODI schedule in the 10 months leading up to the World Cup in October-November makes it possible that Kohli will smash other ODI records.
On Sunday’s third ODI, India captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bat against Sri Lanka. Hardik Pandya and Umran Malik were replaced by Suryakumar Yadav and Washington Sundar in India’s playing eleven.
Sri Lanka introduced Ashen Bandara and Jeffrey Vandersay in place of Dhananjaya de Silva and Dunanjaya Wellerlage. India holds a 2-0 lead in the three-match series.
