After Shraddha’s murder, Aftab bought a new 300-litre fridge. He took his inspiration from Dexter. On May 20, he cut her body into 35 pieces and kept it in the fridge. According to the police, Aftab had studied hotel management and worked as a chef. He had taken training in cutting meat for two weeks. He used it to cut Shraddha’s body. Aftab mutilated Shraddha’s body for two days. Incense sticks and room freshener were also used to remove the smell from the room.

Dexter takes a similar approach. In earlier seasons, Dexter dismembered the bodies of victims and placed the pieces in biodegradable garbage bags. He used to remove plastic sheets from the room so that no evidence would be left. Then he would take the bags in his car and reach the boat and then he would throw them overboard.
