An ancient Vice News article claims that Medusa has had her ears and nostrils cut off, her eyes painted green, and her skin covered with implanted horns and tattooed scales.
However, the transgender, who sees herself as a woman, has deliberated carefully over the decision to change her appearance. As reported by Vice News, her body and face are covered with tattooed scales that are meant to resemble those of a western diamondback rattlesnake.
According to the media, Medusa lost her sense of humanity after being subjected to prejudice, abuse, and sexual violence.
She believes that a dream she experienced as a child, in which she encountered snakes, was the catalyst for her entire adventure, which began with her birth as Richard Hernandez in Arizona, United States. “I believe that I am a real and true live reptoid, a half-human/half-reptilian monster,” Medusa told the Daily Star.
She recently posted a series of “before and after” pictures of her makeover on social media, covering the years 1990-2016. Pictures showed her undergoing plastic surgery and getting tattoos to fit each new persona.
