On Sunday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath urged the various manufacturing companies investing in Uttar Pradesh to develop the skills of the local youths in addition to expanding their operations by establishing new facilities in the state.
He spoke at the virtual opening of Berger Paints’ paint manufacturing facility in Sandila, Hardoi.
Along with establishing their manufacturing facilities, companies investing in the state should establish skill development centres for the local youth. Together, we must assure a skilled workforce for the future,” he said.
“Recently, our government signed a MoA (memorandum of association) with Tata Technologies to upgrade 150 ITIs in the state in order to advance the skill development initiative for youth in new age trades. At least one centre for skill development should be established in Hardoi, Sandila, with complete cooperation from UPSIDA (Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority), he stated.
On the eve of Holi, the chief minister announced that an investment of over 1,000 crore signifies a new industrial revolution in Uttar Pradesh.
He stated that despite numerous obstacles, the department of industrial development attempted to establish an opportunity in Sandila. As a consequence, the new Berger Paints division was established.
“It’s common knowledge that the Berger Paints unit went into operation in just 30 months after a massive investment was made. Yogi Adityanath stated that this demonstrates the state’s emergence as the premier location for industrial investment in the nation.
“Today, the law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh serves as a model for the rest of the nation. As the state now has sectoral policies, Uttar Pradesh is no longer required to make a decision. Yogi Adityanath stated, “We are also making the best use of technology, the single window system, the MoU monitoring system, Udyami Mitra, and the incentive monitoring system, leaving no space for human intervention, and the results are visible to all.”
