Wednesday, food delivery service Zomato announced that it had started a new home-style meal service called Everyday. Its food partners will work with home-chefs to make these meals. In a blog post, company founder Deepinder Goyal said, “Zomato Everyday will bring you closer to home by giving you meals that make you feel at home.” “Our food partners work with the home-chefs, who make each recipe with love and care, so we can serve you home-style, healthy food at the best prices in minutes,” he said.
Goyal said that Zomato Everyday is only available in certain parts of Gurugram at the moment.
“Our customers can eat healthier and better every day because our fresh meals start at just Rs. 89,” Goyal said.
Zomato Everyday users will be able to order home-cooked meals in a simple way. They will be able to customise the meal they choose from the menu, which will be served to them by chefs from their own homes.
The screenshots that Zomato put on its blog show that the home-chefs of the day and the menu will be shown on the home page. With low prices, Zomato Everyday will make it easy for people at the office or in college to use the food delivery platform to place an order.
But the company hasn’t said if there’s a delivery fee and taxes on top of the price of the meal.

A few days ago, a Zomato spokesperson confirmed that the company plans to change the name of its 10-minute food delivery service, Instant, but put to rest rumours that the service would be shut down. There were rumours that the company would shut down Instant, which just came out less than a year ago, because the market was so tough.
In March 2022, the food aggregator started selling Instant. It looks like Everyday is just Instant with a new name.
