Zomato CEO is encouraging job seekers to apply for open positions.

According to Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal, “approximately 800 positions open across five roles” exist inside the company. This comes just two months after the corporation reduced its employment by about 3 percent.

Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal has announced the availability of 800 positions across five departments, in contrast to the widespread layoffs being implemented by other internet companies around the world.

The chief executive officer announced the need for engineers, product managers, and growth managers at the food aggregator. A head of staff to the CEO, generalist, product owner, and software development engineer were among the positions advertised by Mr. Goyal.

He said on LinkedIn, “To express interest in knowing more about any of these opportunities, please mail me at deepinder@zomato.com — me and/or my team will promptly react to you and close the loop either way.”

One year after testing it in Bengaluru, Gurugram, and select regions of Delhi, Zomato has discontinued its 10-minute delivery service. In March of last year, the food aggregator announced that it will launch Instant, a 10-minute food delivery service.

At present, the firm is through a rebranding process and is collaborating with local eateries to develop a new menu.
