Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal has announced the availability of 800 positions across five departments, in contrast to the widespread layoffs being implemented by other internet companies around the world.
The chief executive officer announced the need for engineers, product managers, and growth managers at the food aggregator. A head of staff to the CEO, generalist, product owner, and software development engineer were among the positions advertised by Mr. Goyal.

Co-founders Gunjan Patidar and Mohit Gupta have both recently left the company; Patidar left earlier this month while Gupta left in November of last year. This past November, the company lost its head of new ventures, Rahul Ganjoo.

One year after testing it in Bengaluru, Gurugram, and select regions of Delhi, Zomato has discontinued its 10-minute delivery service. In March of last year, the food aggregator announced that it will launch Instant, a 10-minute food delivery service.
At present, the firm is through a rebranding process and is collaborating with local eateries to develop a new menu.
