On Wednesday, a second trailer for Nandita Das’s Zwigato was released. The film’s protagonists are Kapil Sharma and Shahana Goswami. After losing his position as floor supervisor at a factory, Kapil portrays a food delivery agent who accepts this new position. Kapil begins the trailer by utilising the Zwigato application. He delivers food to various people in different locations, takes selfies with them for a small additional fee, and is on his toes 24×7 as he competes for the highest rating. His wife, portrayed by Shahana, also begins a new employment, which he dislikes. Eventually, his rating plummets as he struggles to determine the cause. He contacts management in frustration, but they could not care less.
On March 17, Zwigato will make its début in Indian theatres. Friday, Nandita Das, who previously directed the critically acclaimed films Firaaq and Manto, tweeted the film’s release date.”The most anticipated order has arrived! Zwigato will be released in theatres on March 17, 2023. It is a realistic and endearing tale about a food delivery driver and his family. Thank you @kapilsharmak9, @shahanagoswami, and @nairsameer for riding with me “The actor and director tweeted.
In September 2022, the world première of Zwigato occurred at the 47th Toronto International Film Festival, followed by the Asian premiere at the 27th Busan International Film Festival. The film was also exhibited at the Kerala International Film Festival (IFFK).

This is Kapil’s first drama since Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karu and Firangi, both of which were comedies. In an interview with Rediff, Kapil stated, “I recently informed my wife that I will lose nothing if this film fails. But if it is successful and a smash, I will benefit greatly. People will say ‘Kapil ne bahut accha kaam kiya ha’ (Kapil has done good work).’ It is crucial that more and more individuals view the film.
