Airtel’s 5G Services now live in 4 cities
Through an exchange filing, Bharti Airtel, a provider of telecommunications services, today announced the opening of its cutting-edge 5G services in Dharamshala, Mandi, and Baddi. In Shimla, Airtel’s 5G services are already operational. Customers will be able to access Airtel 5G Plus services in phases as the business builds up its network and completes the roll out.
Until the rollout is more extensive, customers with 5G capable smartphones can use the high speed Airtel 5G Plus network without paying extra.

The business will eventually expand its network, making its services accessible throughout many additional places in these cities.
Pushpinder Singh Gujral, CEO of Upper North Bharti Airtel, commented on the launch, “I’m excited to announce that Airtel 5G Plus will now be available outside of Shimla in Dharamshala, Mandi, and Baddi. Customers of Airtel in these four cities can now benefit from an ultrafast network with speeds up to 20–30 times quicker than those of existing 4G.”
