Recently, veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan wrote himself a note to rectify a mistake he made. Sunday on his blog, Amitabh referred to himself as a “idiot” and apologized to his admirers for misattributing a Bob Dylan song to the Beatles. Amitabh wrote in his note that he was ‘desperately attempting’ to finish work on Sunday in order to meet his fans at Jalsa.
Amitabh Bachchan makes correction on Sunday
Amitabh posted the following on his blog on Sunday: “Oh dear.. left very early for work and have had no time to meet the Ef here.. and I am urgently trying to complete the work so I can be at the GOJ on time..But first, a correction.. my apologies.. and my thanks to the most productive Ef for pointing it out to me.”
He also stated, “‘The answer, my friends, is blowing in the wind…’ is NOT by the Beatles, but by Bob Dylan. Yes, of course. I am such an idiot, so please excuse the error. I will rectify it immediately. Blowin’ in the Wind by Bob Dylan is from his 1963 album The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan.
What Amitabh wrote on Saturday?
On Saturday, he had written, “There are times in life when you give.. give because you want to.. no obligation, no expectation of a reward, no purpose.. just to give..Do I commit a wrong.. do I announce.. do I make this information public.. do I seek acclaim from others or the moral social attribute givers of the universe?The answer, my friend, is spelled out in the Wind.
He had also stated, “And so in this domain of uncertainty and resolve.. we survive.. and see the unfortunate that do not.. puzzled and regretful.. why they.. how they.. why the lag the difference the defined alienation.. they did some wrong.. the others did some right..? Who made that decision for them and who made it for the others..?”
