Bengaluru woman gang-raped by 4 men in moving car

A woman was allegedly kidnapped and gang-raped by four people in a moving car, police said on Friday.

A woman was allegedly dragged from a park in Bengaluru and then gang-raped by four men in a moving vehicle, according to police reports released today. Four suspects have been apprehended, and an investigation is currently proceeding.

The incident occurred last week on March 25 when the woman was meeting a companion at the National Games Village Park in Koramangala, according to the police. One of the accused approached the two, objecting to their late-night presence in the park.

When the woman’s friend departed, the man called three of his friends, who dragged her out of the park and into their waiting vehicle.

The four men raced away in their car, gang-raped the woman in the moving vehicle, and then dropped her off near her home in the wee hours of the following morning. If she reported the incident to the police, the four suspects threatened the woman with “dire consequences.”
