Mark Zuckerberg, co-founder of Facebook and CEO of Meta, and his wife, Dr. Priscilla Chan, have welcomed their third child. Mr. Zuckerberg announced the birth of their third daughter Aurelia Chan Zuckerberg via Instagram.
“Welcome, Aurelia Chan Zuckerberg, to the universe! “You are such a tiny blessing,” he captioned the image. In one of the images, Mr. Zuckerberg can be seen grinning at his infant child. Ms. Chan is shown in a second image attempting to establish skin-to-skin contact with the infant by cradling her near to her body.
Since it was shared, the post has received more than three million comments. Multiple individuals on the Internet congratulated the couple on their new child.
In September of last year, the chief of Meta announced that his wife was expecting. He wrote, “Loads of affection. Next year, we are delighted to announce that Max and August will receive a newborn sibling. Mr. Zuckerberg positioned his hand on Ms. Chan’s baby belly while smiling for the camera.
The couple has been married since 2012 and already has two daughters, August, 5, and Maxima “Max”, 7 years old.
Ms. Chan and Mr. Zuckerberg fell in love during their undergraduate years. Ms. Chan, a paediatrician and philanthropist, pursued her medical training at the University of California after graduating from Harvard.
After meeting at a fraternity gathering at Harvard University in 2003, the couple began courting. The couple exchanged vows on Mr. Zuckerberg’s estate on May 19, 2012. Last year, they commemorated their tenth wedding anniversary by recreating a scene from their wedding.

On New Year’s, the Facebook co-founder shared a photo of himself holding his wife’s pregnant belly on social media. “Festive New Year! The caption read, “Cheers to all of the adventures and love in 2023!”
Mr. Zuckerberg wore a black suit in the photo, while Ms. Chan donned a white dress. The couple smiled broadly while posing for the photograph. Mr. Zuckerberg was also captured in a candid photograph with his daughter.
