Muzaffarpur: persons, a businessman and his bodyguard, killed and three others were injured after miscreants opened fire in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur on Friday.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Rakesh Kumar stated, “During the firing, two persons were killed and three were injured. The afflicted are receiving medical care. The four suspects arrived on two bicycles.”
“The investigation is currently in its preliminary stages, and the reason for the dismissal appears to be a property dispute,” the SSP added.
Arvind Kumar Singh, superintendent of police in Muzaffarpur, stated, “The reason for the shooting has yet to be determined.”
Regarding the individuals involved in the crime, the SP stated, “…the involvement of two perpetrators has been confirmed, but there could be a total of four…investigation underway.”
Ashutosh Shahi, a local merchant and real estate dealer, was among the deceased. His personal bodyguard was also killed on the spot during the gunfight. His bodyguards cum advocate Syed Qasim Hasan alias Dollar, whose condition is reportedly critical and who is being treated at Janaki Hospital, were among the three injured.
After receiving word of the incident, SSP Rakesh Kumar and SP (City) Arvind Kumar Singh raced to the scene and launched an investigation.

The police informed Ashutosh was involved in premier real estate transactions. They stated that the Shambhu-Mantu gang had previously threatened to murder him.
