Cong abuses me and loses: Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has 91 times accused the Congress of mistreating him and has criticized the party’s treatment of the Lingayat community, BR Ambedkar, and VD Savarkar. Modi is campaigning in Karnataka ahead of the state’s election on 10 May, and will speak at a minimum of 19 rallies across the state. The general secretary of the Congress, Jairam Ramesh, accused Modi of “abusing” his opponents by playing the victim card.On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in a roadshow in Bengaluru.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the second phase of his campaign in Karnataka by attacking the Congress for its personal remarks. Referring to Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge’s “poisonous snake” remark, Modi stated that he deemed it an honor to be insulted by the Congress.

Saturday morning, Modi flew in from New Delhi and landed in Bidar. Before departing for a rally in Bengaluru, he spoke at public assemblies in Humnabad, Bidar, the district headquarters of Vijayapura, and Kudachi, Belagavi district.

At a public rally in Bidar, he stated, “Someone has compiled a catalog of these insults against me and sent it to me. To date, Congress members have verbally assaulted me 91 times in various ways. Congress would not be in such a pitiful state if its members had focused on good governance and boosting the morale of its employees instead of squandering time on this dictionary of abuses.

The Prime Minister accused the Congress of also mistreating the dominant Lingayat community in Karnataka’s upcoming election, adding that the party had also mistreated BR Ambedkar and VD Savarkar.

“The Congress despises anyone who speaks about the common man, exposes their corruption, or assaults their self-centered politics. The hatred of such individuals by Congress will become permanent. In this election as well, the Congress has begun to verbally abuse me,” Modi said.

“I am not the only person to have been attacked in this manner. “Last election they ran a campaign ‘Chowkidar chor hai’, then they said ‘Modi Chor’, then they said ‘OBC community are chor,’ and now, just as the election season in Karnataka has begun, they have the audacity to call my Lingayat brothers and sisters ‘chor’,” he said.

Three days prior to the May 10 election, Modi will speak at at least 19 rallies in Karnataka.

Modi, speaking at a rally in Vijayapuara, stated that the Congress diverted development funds and ignored the farmers. “Congress has never helped the poor and people of Karnataka; they have only robbed them.” Congress redirected the Vikas fund to intermediaries while ignoring the plight of farmers. The state’s women and daughters suffered greatly under the Congress administration. “However, the BJP administration empowered them and altered their lives by providing assistance,” he said.

“The BJP administration has prioritized all classes, including the impoverished, Dalit, destitute, and disabled. The economically and socially disadvantaged are protected under the BJP administration. The government has worked to provide the poor with sustenance and shelter. In Karnataka, there are nine lakh such families who, after several generations, recently moved into their first pucca home,” Modi said.

In his public address in Belagavi, Modi stated that the marginalized segments of society suffered losses during the Congress administration. “During the period of congressional corruption, there were only cons. Due to this, our Dalits, tribals, and people from backward societies suffered a tremendous loss. Sincere efforts are made by the BJP on behalf of the impoverished, Dalit, backward, and Banjara communities. We work day and night for these segments of society, but Congress has no interest in your advancement. Congress is merely performing the task of denigrating Modi. Modi stated that the Congress despises anyone who works for Dalits and backwards.

Modi concluded a busy day of electioneering with a massive roadshow in north Bengaluru, which attracted a massive audience. Modi, who flew into the city from Belagavi at 5 p.m. after holding his third public event of the day, travelled in a vehicle that was specially designed.

Numerous individuals crowded both sides of the road to catch a glimpse of the prime minister and to present him with bouquets. Dollu Kunita, a popular drum performance, was performed by a troupe of artists along the route, which was festooned with BJP banners, festoons, and posters. The 5,3-kilometer roadshow traversed various locations in north Bengaluru, such as Magadi Road, Nice Road Junction, and Sumanahalli.

In response to the Prime Minister’s remarks, Jairam Ramesh, general secretary of the Congress, stated that he has been playing the victim card in Karnataka because “he leaves the dirty tricks to Shah and Yogi to polarize.” “The first day of the PM’s campaigning in Karnataka is a tale of three DEs. 1. Twin Engine 2. DEspair DEsperation 3. Ramesh remarked that his speeches were filled with the phrase “Only Nataka” but offered nothing concrete for the people of Karnataka.

“As expected, Prime Minister Modi began his long-delayed Karnataka campaign by playing the victim card, pleading for a discredited so-called ‘double engine’ sarkar, and denigrating the Congress. These are, without a doubt, his worn-out talking points, as he delegates dirty tricks to Shah and Yogi to polarize the electorate,” the Congress leader said.
