Vande Bharat sleeper trains will let people journey long distances at high speeds over the course of a night.

Rail minister Ashwini Vaishnaw posted pictures of the new Vande Bharat bed trains on the social media site X on Tuesday. “Concept Train – Vande Bharat (Baby version)” The minister said, “Coming soon… early 2024.”

The Vande Bharat bed trains will have two and three levels, as you can see in the picture. The beds are not at all like the ones on the Rajdhani or other high-class trains.

The minister did not say when the new Vande Bharat sleeper train would start running next year. However, an ANI story said that it might not happen until February 2024.

Vande Bharat sleeper trains will let people journey long distances at high speeds over the course of a night.

It ran from New Delhi to Varanasi for the first time. Prime Minister Narendra Modi opened the line on February 15, 2019.
The Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai made the train set, which is a symbol of the “Make-In-India” program and shows how good Indian engineers are.

Cleaning in 14 minutes

Starting October 1, the Indian Railways will use this idea for the Vande Bharat trains. The cars will be cleaned in just 14 minutes. For example, Japan’s bullet trains clean their cars every seven minutes, which is how this idea works.

“We want to clean all the trains in 14 minutes, but we’ll start with the Vande Bharat first.” There would be four staff members in each Vande Bharat coach. “They have been trained for over a month to carry out this plan and have also had practice drills,” a top railway official told HT.

Minister of Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw said that the idea behind the plan comes from Japan’s “7 minutes of wonder” program, which cleans and prepares bullet trains in just seven minutes. The minister said the project is being done to make people more efficient and cut down on wait times.
