EU trusts India’s G20 Presidency to find a way in Russia-Ukraine war

The European Union believes that India’s G20 presidency will “find a way” to end the war between Russia and Ukraine, an EU envoy said on Monday.

Meanwhile, at the EU headquarters in Brussels, the European Commission’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell stated that to counter a growing number of Russian troops, Ukraine needs more ammunition, in addition to other pledges of military support from allies, CNN reported.

He said that Russia has “almost twice as many soldiers in Ukraine as there were at the start of the war.” He also said that the next few weeks will be very important.

“The Ukrainian army needs a lot of weapons right away to fight back against Russian aggression,” Borrell said. “Every gun needs ammunition.”

“For this, time is very important. Quickness saves lives. We have to act quickly. Not only to give more help, but also to do it faster, “Borrell added.
