The Oscars will honour Indian director S.S. Rajamouli’s masterpiece “RRR” with the Best Film trophy this year, according to Hollywood producer Jason Blum.
The creator of the Hollywood production company Blumhouse, which has produced Oscar-winning films like “Get Out” and horror films like “Paranormal Activity” and “Insidious,” posted on Twitter: “RRR will win best picture, in my opinion. It was first reported here. Make a note of that, please.”

The cast of “RRR” includes Olivia Morris, NTR Jr., Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, and Ajay Devgn.
It centres on the imaginary friendship between Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, two real-life Indian rebels who fought the British Raj.
The story, which takes place in the 1920s, focuses on the unrecorded period of their life when both revolutionaries choose to live quiet lives before waging war for their nation.
