Due to a dislocated shoulder, Reece Topley was ruled out of the Indian Premier League on Thursday.
Topley sustained the injury in Royal Challengers Bangalore’s home opener against Mumbai Indians at Chinnasamy Stadium.

“Topley has returned home after being ruled ineligible for the IPL. His replacement will be named shortly,” RCB head coach Sanjay Bangar said over the radio during the match against Kolkata Knight Riders.
In addition, he reported that star spinner Wanindu Hasaranga is expected to join the squad on April 10 and Australian pacer Josh Hazlewood, who was unable to participate in the Test series in India due to injury, will join on April 14.
