IND vs AUS 1st ODI Highlights:

IND vs AUS 1st ODI: Hardik Pandya’s ODI captaincy debut is a memorable one, as he begins with a victory. He will be extremely delighted with the team’s performance and exemplary character. Sunday in Vizag, the visitors will attempt to equalise the series score, as India currently holds the advantage.

India’s pursuit did not get off to an easy start, as they lost Ishan Kishan early on. Some of Virat Kohli’s early drives were successful, while others were not. Starc also dispatched him, and Suryakumar Yadav followed suit one delivery later.

Shubman Gill was partnered by KL Rahul in the middle. Early on, Gill appeared to be in excellent form, as he was striking the ball extremely well and had already hit a couple of boundaries. He was dismissed shortly after Labuschagne made a spectacular catch. Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul formed a partnership, but Pandya was subsequently dismissed. India was 83/5 when Jadeja entered the match.

KL Rahul and Jadeja began reconstructing the batting order. They were 100 runs away from victory when the duo began trading in ones and twos. KL was the primary aggressor, as evidenced by his superb strokes. Once KL reached 50, he unleashed his aggressive nature and blasted 10 runs off Adam Zampa’s final over. India chased down the target with 61 deliveries remaining, with contributions from Jadeja at regular intervals.

Australia will be dismayed that they were unable to capitalise on their excellent start. Mitchell Starc and Stoinis were the only bowlers to cause the Indian batsmen any difficulty, as they each took three wickets. Adam Zampa, Cameron Green, Glenn Maxwell, and Sean Abbott all bowled excellent periods, but their team was unable to acquire wickets.
