Lady Gaga announced on Instagram that she has completed filming for the Joker sequel. In the film titled Joker: Folie à Deux, she portrays Harley Quinn.
Lady Gaga has finished filming Joker sequel: Folie à Deux. To commemorate the final day of filming, both the director and the actor posted an Instagram photo of Lady Gaga, who portrays Harley Quinn in the film, to Instagram. Fans reacted enthusiastically to the news and inundated the image with their comments.
Todd Philips posted close-up images of Lady Gaga and Joaquin in full makeup to Instagram with the caption, “That’s a conclusion. Thank you to these two (plus the entire ensemble) and the film industry’s BEST crew. From the top down. “I’m going to crawl into a cave (editing room) and put everything together.” Lady Gaga also posted the same photo of herself in costume with the caption “That’s a wrap (love, fire, joker card emoticons) X, Harleen.”
Fans responded positively to the news and expressed their eagerness to view the sequel. Joaquin Phoenix won an Oscar for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his performance in the 2019 film, which went on to become a box office success and earn two Oscars. Several luminaries also posted in the comments section.

Lady Gaga was observed filming in the iconic New York City staircase made famous by the 2019 film earlier this week. On Valentine’s Day, Todd Philips gave fans their first glimpse at the film by posting an Instagram photo of Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix as Harley Quinn and the Joker, respectively. The anticipated release date for Joker: Folie à Deux is October 24, 2024.
