Oscar nominations 2023: Best actor
A report in the five nominees for best actor at the Oscars in 2023. Colin Farrell’s work in The Banshees of Inisherin and Brendan Fraser’s comeback in The Whale would put them in the running. Austin Butler would be a strong candidate for best actor because of how well he played Elvis Presley in the movie Elvis. Bill Nighy could also get a nomination for his moving performance as a bureaucrat with a terminal illness in the movie Living, which came out in 2022. Paul Mescal would be the fifth candidate for his role in Aftersun.

Oscar nominations 2023: Best Actress
Cate Blanchett for “Tár” and Michelle Yeoh for “Everything, Everywhere, All at Once” are likely to be two of the best actress nominees. For her role in The Woman King, Viola Davis won best actress at the Screen Actors Guild, Golden Globes, and Critics’ Choice Awards. She would almost certainly be up for an Oscar again in 2023. Danielle Deadwyler, who played Mamie Till-Bradley in the movie Till, also deserves to be known for her work. Also, Michelle Williams, who was in the movie Fabelmans, might be added to the final list of nominees.
