PM Modi gives out 71,000 letters of appointment to new employees in government departments.

On January 20, Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent out 71,000 appointment letters to new hires in different government departments. The Prime Minister will start the Rozgar Mela in October 2022. This is where appointment letters will be given out.

The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said that the appointment letters will be sent out at 10:30 am via video conferencing. The goal of the Rozgar Mela is to hire 10 lakh people so that the government can keep its promise to give people jobs.

When the scheme started in October, the minister of labour, Bhupendra Yadav, said on Twitter that up to 75,000 people would be hired every month for the next year. This would give 10 lakh government jobs to “our youth.”

Some of the jobs available are in the central armed forces, as sub-inspectors, constables, stenographers, and income-tax inspectors. The people who are chosen will join the government at different levels: Group A, Group B (Gazetted), Group B (Non-Gazetted), and Group C.

The government said, “As per the Prime Minister’s instructions, all ministries and departments are working in “Mission Mode” to fill all open positions for jobs that have been approved.” At different places in India, central ministers will give appointment letters to tens of thousands of new hires. Earlier in November 2022, 71,000 appointment letters were sent out by the Prime Minister to new government employees. In October, 75,000 letters were sent out.

The physical copies of the appointment letters were given out at 45 locations across the country. The Ministry of Home Affairs filled a large number of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) positions, according to the report.

They will also talk about what they learned in the Karmayogi Prarambh module. The module is an online orientation course for people who have just started working for the government.

The Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE) reported on January 1 that India’s unemployment rate rose to 8.30 percent in December, up from 8 percent the month before. This is the highest it has been in 16 months.
