Just one day after its debut, Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan is shattering records left and right! It appears that Bollywood’s Badshah’s four-year absence from the big screen had excited fans all over the world. The movie is off to a great start, earning close to Rs 100 crore on its first day of global release!

Pathaan is claimed to have made more than Rs 50 crore at the Indian box office out of a total of Rs 100 crore.

Shah Rukh Khan-starrer film breaks records; slap to members of boycott gang
When the Pathaan soundtrack’s opening song, Besharm Rang, was made public, Shah Rukh Khan had to deal with unheard-of hatred. Several BJP figures, including the home minister of Madhya Pradesh, a BJP-ruled state in India, had threatened to prevent the movie’s release. He and other Hindutva clan members had accused Shah Rukh of demeaning Hindus in the song. In response, BJP members organised a campaign to urge viewers to boycott the movie. However, the India boycott movement has suffered a severe defeat as a result of Pathaan Day 1 Box Office Collection.
About Pathaan
The spy action movie, which was directed by Siddharth Anand, tells the tale of an exiled RAW field agent (Sahrukh Khan), who is tasked with taking down a private terrorist group that is preparing a nuclear strike on India. Deepika Padukone plays an ISI spy in the movie, and John Abraham plays a former RAW agent who is plotting a nuclear assault on India.
The fourth film in the YRF Spy Universe, which also comprises the Salman Khan film Ek Tha Tiger and the Hrithik Roshan films War and Tiger Zinda Hai, was ultimately released on January 25. Tiger 3 and War II are slated to be released on huge screens after Pathaan. Both movies are currently under production.
