PM Modi Special Jacket: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is likely to reply to the motion of thanks on the President’s address in the Lok Sabha, was today seen in parliament in a special blue jacket, which has been recycled from plastic bottles.
PM Modi Special Jacket, presented to him by Indian Oil Corporation during India Energy Week in Bengaluru on Monday, is made out of recycled PET bottles.
The Energy Week was aimed to showcase India’s rising prowess as an energy transition powerhouse
To produce eco-friendly clothing for India Oil personnel and the armed forces, more than 10 crore PET bottles would be recycled.

With an investment of Rs 19,700 crore, the government has established the National Green Hydrogen Mission, which will speed up the transition to a low-carbon economy, lessen reliance on fossil fuel imports, and encourage the adoption of technology and market leadership in this area.
