At King Charles’ coronation, Rishi Sunak and Akshata Murty will lead a Royal Air Force cadet carrying the British flag.
“The initial processions into Westminster Abbey will consist of Faith Leaders and Faith Representatives, followed shortly thereafter by representatives from His Majesty’s Realms.” The palace stated that national representatives accompanied by Governors General and Prime Ministers will carry the flags of each Realm.
The King and Queen’s procession will be led by the Marquess of Anglesey, Duke of Westminster, Earl of Caledon, and Earl of Dundee, who will bear the Standards of the Quarterings of the Royal Arms and the Standard of the Principality of Wales. The Royal Standard will be carried by Francis Dymoke, according to the statement.
Buckingham Palace announced on Saturday that a new screen will provide “absolute privacy” during the most sacred portion of King Charles’ coronation service next week, ensuring that the world will not see the monarch being anointed.

Shortly before his coronation at London’s Westminster Abbey on May 6, Charles will be anointed with sacred oil consecrated in Jerusalem on his hands, chest, and head, as reported by Reuters.
