Promote Jawan booking: 7 lakh tickets sold on 1st day, yet Baahubali 2 is far ahead.

The film Jawan has generated over ₹20 crore in advance ticket sales in India, indicating successful advance booking.

On Thursday, Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, finally comes out in theaters all over the world. Based on how many tickets were reserved for the film in advance on its first day, as noted by Sacnilk.com, Jawan is expected to set a new record for Hindi movies. Manobala Vijayabalan, an expert in the film industry, says that the Shah Rukh movie has already sold more than 7 lakh tickets in India on its first day.

7 lakh tickets sold for Jawan’s first day

On Tuesday, Manobala Vijayabalan wrote on Twitter or X, “BREAKING: Jawan Day 1 advance sales. SOLD seven million tickets. CROSSES the 20 crore gross mark in all Indian theaters. On the first day, National Multiplexes alone sold more than 3 lakh tickets… “Jawan is 2 days away…”

He tweeted the breakdown of the tickets: “National Multiplexes—PVR—1,51,278, INOX—1,06,297, CINEPOLIS—52,615. 3,10,190 tickets were sold in total. Gross: 11,98 crore rupees. All theaters in Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) brought in 2.57 crore from 54,238 people. 50,701 people in Mumbai cost 2.08 crore. 48,184 people in Bengaluru cost 1.84 crore. Hyderabad: 68,407 people, $1.66 million. 45,977 people in Kolkata: 1.46 crore. 60,415 in Chennai costs 1.06 crore. All of the theaters in India sold a total of 7,27,200 seats. Gross: 20.06 crore (not counting seats that were blocked).

In another tweet, Manobala Vijayabalan talked about how Jawan compared to the first-day ticket sales for other Hindi pictures at multiplex chains. He wrote, “Top 10 day one progress at national multiplexes… “Baahubali 2: 6.5 million, Pathaan: 5.56 million, KGF Chapter 2: 5.15 million, War: 4.10 million, Thugs of Hindostan: 3.46 million, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo: 3.40 million, Bharat: 3.16 million, Sultan: 3.10 million, Dangal: 3.05 million, and Brahmastra: 3.02 million.”

With almost two days to go and more than 3 lakh tickets already sold for Jawan’s first day in multiplexes alone, the movie could easily beat Aamir Khan’s Thugs of Hindostan and Salman Khan’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.

Jawan box office

Jawan is getting so much attention that it is likely to be Shah Rukh’s second film this year to open with more than 100 crore, after Pathaan. Jawan could also make the same amount of money for the star in the same year. According to the most recent news from Sacnilk.com, Jawan has made 21.14 crore in advance bookings in India so far. The movie can be seen in both 2D and IMAX, and the most expensive ticket seems to cost a whopping 2400 in Delhi.
