Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that he is a “very wise man” and adding that India is making significant advances in the realm of development while he is in charge. According to reports coming out of Russia-based media outlet RT, the leader of Russia expressed hope for future cooperation between Moscow and New Delhi in the field of financial security as well as the fight against cybercrime.
“We have very good political relations with Prime Minister Modi, and he is a very wise man,” said the Prime Minister of India. And because of the way he directs India’s development efforts, the country has recently made some extremely significant advancements. “This fully meets the interest of both India and Russia to work on this agenda,” stated Vladimir Putin. “This is a win-win situation.”
Also in the previous month, Vladimir Putin was heard praising Prime Minister Modi, saying that he was doing the “right thing” in pushing the Make in India campaign.
During his speech at the 8th Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), the President of Russia stated, “You know, back then we did not have cars that were made in our country, but we do now.” It is true that they appear to be less flashy than automobiles manufactured by Mercedes or Audi, of which we made significant purchases in the 1990s, but this is not a problem.
