RAJASTHAN NIGHT TEMPERATURES GO UP

A Met Office spokesman said that across the state of Rajasthan, minimum temperatures rose by a few degrees. At night, the temperature in Sirohi was 2.8 degrees Celsius, the lowest in the state. Karauli came in at 5.2 degrees.

At night, the mercury dropped to 5.5 degrees Celsius in Churu, 6.7 degrees in Jaisalmer, 7 degrees in Dholpur and Dabok, 7.3 degrees in Alwar, 7.5 degrees in Chittorgarh, 7.8 degrees in Sangaria and Sriganganagar.

In the next two to three days, the meteorological service predicts mild to moderate rainfall in solitary locations in the Bharatpur, Kota, Jaipur, Udaipur, and Ajmer divisions.

The latest weather report from the IMD predicts that thunderstorms with lightning may occur in a few locations in Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh on January 23.

The Met Office has predicted that heavy rainfall is possible in some areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with thunderstorms, lightning, and hail also possible in some locations.
