A team of 85 female bikers from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) will travel 1,848 kilometres from Delhi to one of the regions of Chhattisgarh most afflicted by Left Wing Extremism.
Anjilee, who comes from Muzaffarpur in Uttar Pradesh, stated, “We will travel 1,848 kilometres in 16 days, which is a challenge given that the bullet is a hefty motorcycle, but we enjoy new challenges.”

The ride will commence on March 9 at India Gate and conclude on March 25 at Jagdalpur in the south Bastar region of Chhattisgarh.

“On my bicycle, I feel as potent as shakti. I am not afraid of anyone nor do I fatigue easily “Anjilee, who has been pedalling a bicycle since elementary school, remarked.

“I would like to emphasise that you should never consider yourself incapable of accepting any challenge; we should always overcome our anxieties and take part in everything,” said another female officer.

Their level of aggression and motivation can be determined by the manner in which they accelerate their motorcycles.

“Bullet is quite weighty, and we must travel over 1,800 kilometres. Our male coworkers frequently inquire whether we are capable of completing a task, to which I always respond affirmatively “Asha Devi, another officer, stated.

The all-female crew has members from across the nation. “All regions of India are represented in our staff, making us a genuinely secular group,” she continued.

As planned, the women will travel from Delhi to Agra, then to Gwalior, Shivpuri, Bhopal, Nagpur, and Raipur before arriving in Jagdalpur.

“When I ride cycle I feel independent… Our elders encourage us by stating that anxiety resides in the mind, not the body. Someone must prevail over it “said Kavita from Tripura, the youngest individual in the group.

The CRPF will celebrate its 84th Raising Day on March 25 in Jagdalpur, with Amit Shah serving as the principal guest. This is the first time the annual event has taken place in a region impacted by LWE.

Last year, the CRPF celebrated its 83rd anniversary in Jammu, after the government instructed all paramilitary or CAPFs (Central Armed Police Forces) to do so outside of the national capital.

“Amit Shah, the minister of the interior of India, desired the holiday to be celebrated nationwide. The previous year, we celebrated in Kashmir, and this year, in Jagdalpur “A senior officer commented.
