The narrative of transgender activist Gauri Sawant, as told through a biographical drama series directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Ravi Jadhav, will be told.The news and teaser were both posted to Sen’s social media accounts; she made her digital debut with the critically praised sitcom Aarya.
Taali is an Arjun Singgh Baran and Kartk D Nishandar creation, written by Kshitij Patwardhan. Both of them, together with Afeefa Nadiadwala, have produced the show.Sen will also be included in the upcoming Disney+ Hotstar season of Aarya, in addition to Taali.
