Samantha Ruth Prabhu provides a witty response to film producer Chittibabu, who made an overly offensive remark about the actor. On Saturday, Samantha posted an Instagram Story that appeared to make a reference to Chittibabu’s ear hair.
Chittibabu stated in a recent interview that Samantha’s career as a heroine is over and she cannot return to prominence. She should continue her voyage by accepting the available opportunities. Samantha was also accused by the producer of attempting to “gain sympathy.” According to On Manorama, he stated, “Every time sentiment will not work. People will watch if both the role and the film are compelling. These are all despicable and irrational acts. I question how Samantha, who lost her status as a heroine, is suited to play Shakuntala. I have absolutely no interest in Shaakuntalam.”

Samantha retaliated by sharing a screenshot of a Google query she typed on her mobile device. It reads, “How do people have hair growing from…” The response she received was about how increased testosterone causes ear hair growth. She simply appended the hashtag #iykwim, which stands for “if you catch my drift.”
Shaakuntalam is based on the classic Indian play Abhigyan Shakuntalam by Kalidasa, the greatest poet and dramatist of ancient India. Shakuntala was King Dushyant’s consort and Emperor Bharata’s mother. Samantha has been partnered with Dev Mohan.
The film was released in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada on April 14. It was not successful at the box office.
Samantha told ANI when asked about the film, “It’s a love tale. And affection is comparable to an entire universe. Our cultural legacy is extensive. And this film’s plot is based on one of our earliest classics. In addition to the narrative, the film features advanced graphics and special effects.”
