On Thursday evening in Mumbai, the veteran actor Satish Kaushik was laid to rest by several members of the Hindi film industry, including his family and colleagues. The actor and director perished in the morning of a heart attack in Delhi. After his funeral, his 10-year-old daughter Vanishka Kaushik posted a photo of the pair in brighter times.
Vanshika Kaushik, the young daughter of Satish, shared an old photo of herself embracing her father while they both smiled for the camera. She only included a red heart emoji with the photo on Instagram, with no accompanying text.
Fans conveyed their condolences to the young woman and paid their respects to the gifted performer. One admirer remarked, “Your father will always be a part of you and watch over you. He will remain in your heart and in your fondest memories forever. Sending you lots of love and embraces.” Another devotee wrote, “Remain courageous and care for your mother.”
Father and daughter are extremely close. On her 10th birthday in July of 2017, the actor posted on Instagram “Vanshika, my most cherished daughter, I wish you a happy birthday. In these ten years, you have brought us pleasure, calmness, and joy. Before your arrival, life was so meaningless and devoid of vitality, but your arrival on this day has given it new meaning and vitality. May god bless u always. Lv.”
Sanu Kaushik, the two-year-old son of Satish and Shashi Kaushik, perished in 1996. In 2012, Vanshika was delivered through a surrogate mother. After 18 years of marriage, Satish welcomed his second child at the age of 56.
Anupam Kher, Satish’s close friend, verified his death in Delhi earlier in the day. The actor told the PTI news agency that Satish was at a friend’s residence in Delhi when he began to feel uneasy. He stated, “Feeling uneasy, he instructed the driver to transport him to the hospital, where he suffered a heart attack around 1 a.m.”
