On May 7, Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor will deliver a speech at the historic coronation of King Charles III. Sonam Kapoor will join a group of internationally renowned personalities. The specifics of her performance have not yet been disclosed, but sources indicate that it will likely involve the British Royal Family.

Sonam Kapoor will be accompanied by notable personalities such as Tom Cruise and Pooh. These personalities, along with others such as Joan Collins, Tom Jones, Bear Grylls, and Oti Mabuse, will appear in prerecorded video segments commemorating the coronation of King Charles.

They will reveal “little-known facts about the King” during these segments. Additionally, the event will feature Paloma Faith, Tiwa Savage, Steve Winwood, Olly Murs, and DJ Pete Tong, who will perform his famous Ibiza classics.

In addition, the concert will feature internationally renowned pianists Lang Lang and Lucy, the most recent recipient of ‘The Piano’ competition. The coronation is in honor of King Charles, who ascended to the throne after his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, passed away last year.

Buckingham Palace has announced preparations for a three-day holiday celebration. There will be a concert featuring renowned celebrities at Windsor Castle, a series of street parties throughout the country, and a volunteering campaign dubbed “The Big Help Out.”

“Buckingham Palace is pleased to announce additional details on the ceremonial, celebratory, and community events that will take place during the Coronation Weekend from Saturday, May 6 to Monday, May 8, 2023,” the palace stated in a recent press release.

Archbishop of Canterbury will preside over the service. As previously announced, the Service will reflect the current function of the Monarch and look to the future, while remaining rooted in longstanding traditions and pageantry, according to a statement from Buckingham Palace.
