The PGA Tour runs a number of different professional golf tours
The PGA Tour Run is one of the most well-known sports leagues in the world and the most important tour in men’s professional golf. Did you know that it also runs a number of other tours?Most of the best men’s professional golfers play on the main PGA Tour, where they try to win the biggest prize money and earn the highest honours in the game. Its other tours, on the other hand, help up-and-coming players, golfers from Canada, Latin America, over 50s, and anyone else who wants to make it to the big leagues.
Here are some of the other tours run by the main PGA Tour Run.
This is a tour for golfers in the US that helps them get ready for The PGA Tour Run . At the end of the 2023 Korn Ferry Tour Championship, the top 30 players in the standings for the whole season will get to join the PGA Tour for the 2024 season. Tournaments aren’t just held in the U.S.; they also happen in Brazil, Mexico, and Canada, among other places.

The Korn Ferry Tour has had a few different names. In 1990, it was called the Ben Hogan Tour. Since then, it has been called the Nike Tour, the Buy.com Tour, the Nationwide Tour, and the Web.com Tour, depending on who sponsors it.
Tom Lehman, Stewart Cink, Zach Johnson, Jimmy Walker, and the most recent winner, Scottie Scheffler, all won the money list on the Korn Ferry Tour before they won a Major.
Canada’s PGA Tour
This was started in 1970 and taken over by The PGA Tour Run in November 2012. In 2015, Mackenzie investments became the sponsor of the tour. It is an international tour for getting better, and the Korn Ferry Tour is a way to get to the PGA Tour.

In recent years, a number of players have moved up from the “Canadian Tour,” as it is called, to the main tour. JJ Spaun, Joel Dahmen, and Mackenzie Hughes, all of whom won on the PGA Tour, all played on the Canadian Tour first.
PGA TOUR LATINOAMERICA
The PGA Tour Run Latinoamerica started in 2012. It is a development tour run by the PGA Tour that has tournaments all over South America and Mexico.
The winner of the Order of Merit gets a Korn Ferry Tour card, and the next five get spots in Korn Ferry Tour Final Qualifying. Sixth through fiftyth place go to the stage before Final Qualifying.
PGA TOUR CHAMPIONS
