After multiple fake images of former U.S. President Donald Trump being arrested went viral on social media, Mr. Donald Trump shared an AI-generated image of himself praying on his own social media application, Truth Social.
The screenshot depicts Mr. Trump knelt with his hands in front of him and his head bowed, with the caption “pray for this man” written by an individual with the Flickr username siggy.flickr. Mr. Trump uploaded the image without explanation.
At first inspection, the photograph appears oddly realistic. However, a closer look at the former president’s hands, shoes, and background reveals the limitations of artificial intelligence technology.
Forbes reports that Mr. Donald Trump’s right hand appears to be missing a digit when he joins his hands in supplication in the photograph. According to the report, his digits are “grafted on in a jumbled mess that defies basic human anatomy.”
As always, the big tell is the hands. Trump appears to be missing his right ring finger. And his thumbs are mashed together in a way that defies human anatomy. pic.twitter.com/oWyYakKROy

According to the report, the fact that Mr. Trump’s right knee, the one on the ground, appears to be directly behind his left foot is another significant indicator that this photograph is a forgery. It was also observed that the margins of the sole of Mr. Trump’s shoes resembled brushes.
Then there are countless context clues that don't add up. Trump is the center of attention in every room he enters. Yet the four people we can see behind him don't bother to look at Trump taking a knee to pray. pic.twitter.com/nIvycjuuoN

People in the picture’s background do not appear to be paying much attention to Mr. Trump. According to the report, if this were to occur, it is probable that additional parties would be implicated or at least made aware of the situation.

The potential indictment of Donald Trump for paying hush money to a porn star took a new turn on Wednesday, when a New York grand jury failed to convene as scheduled, deferring their decision until possibly next week. It should be noted that, if indicted, he would be the first former or current president to be charged with a crime. Mr. Trump has called for massive protests if he is indicted, fueling concerns of unrest comparable to the January 6, 2021 disturbance at the US Capitol, but so far protests have been small and subdued, according to an AFP report.
