Google Employee Learned She Lost Her Job
Recent layoffs at Google Employee have had a significant impact on staff. Sundar Pichai, the company’s chief executive officer (CEO), sent an email to employees earlier this month telling them of the extensive layoffs and claiming “full responsibility” for them. Since then, other employees have utilised social media to express their sorrow and recount their experience at the software giant. A woman who gave birth to their second kid on January 19 also related her experience of being laid off while still in the hospital with her newborn child.
Kate Howells, who held a number of positions at Google for nearly a decade, shared on LinkedIn how the happiest day of her life was tarnished by melancholy. She stated that being let off from her work while still recovering from childbirth led to a variety of conflicting feelings during her hospital stay.

The former Google Employee disclosed in her article that she will soon be relocating to Phoenix, Arizona with her family. She also expressed confidence that she will be able to overcome the challenge.

Mr. Pichai has announced that Google will “assist” all 12,000 terminated employees as they seek alternative employment.
