Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will join the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ for four days in Madhya Pradesh from Wednesday. Party General Secretary Jairam Ramesh gave this information by tweeting on Tuesday morning. He said, Tuesday was also a day of rest for the Bharat Jodo Yatra. On Wednesday, the yatra will enter Madhya Pradesh near Burhanpur. Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will join the yatra there for four days.
Priyanka Gandhi had not yet participated in the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ which started on September 7. She was busy campaigning for the party in the Himachal Pradesh assembly elections in the past. Former party president Sonia Gandhi was a part of this yatra in Mandya, Karnataka and did a padayatra with Rahul Gandhi.
On the other hand, on Tuesday morning, state in-charge JP Agarwal, Arun Yad av, PC Sharma and other leaders had reached the place of the flag march action for the Bharat Jodo Yatra. PCC Chief Kamal Nath and former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh also have a tour program today regarding the preparations.
Bharat Jodo Yatra will pass through here
Bharat Jodo Yatra Will Cover 386 km in Madhya Pradesh in 12 days. During this, the yatra will start from Burhanpur, Khadwa, Khargone, Indore, Ujjain and Agar Malwa districts. On December 4, the yatra will enter Rajasthan from Agar Malwa district.
Kamal Nath will also accompany Rahul Gandhi during his visit to Madhya Pradesh. Rahul’s visit to Madhya Pradesh will include sub-travels at different places. Office bearers and workers of different districts are involved in 22 sub-travels.
Rahul Gandhi and several other leaders had started this journey on September 7 from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu. They will reach Srinagar after covering a distance of 3570 kms and this journey will end after reaching there.
